So, I've asked myself why start a blog?
I became interested in a blog about a year ago. Our local paper published a story about an incredible family raising an amazing baby boy named Jonah. Before then, I don't even know if I had ever read a blog. I became quite addicted to their story. Wanting to see how Jonah was doing, watching him grow with the photo's she would post. For a long time she allowed people to post anonymously UNTIL....a person left very unkind comments on her blog. This person said the kind of things that would make grown women cry and cling to their own mommies. So, it became warranted for me to have a log in account in order to identify myself when commenting on her posts. While trying to find my way I created a BLOG...I came back to my page and saw I had approximately 160 "views" on my blog. So, for a couple of weeks I have pondered on whether I should ever write the first word. Who cares what I have to say? What is interesting about me or my life? So, here begins the journey to find out...

Jonah's story is what really got me going on my blog as well. I wish I could be as great a writer as Patrice, so I practice often! I don't think many people outside of my family read my blog, but my extended family really appreciates the opportunity to feel connected.
